Welcome To My Site
& My Storytelling Crusade !
I've dedicated my adult life to using, doing,
and teaching Storytelling for adults.

Yes, it's entertainment, but I'm fascinated by how personal storytelling can also be used as a (free and immediately available!) vehicle for self-development. The group I have dedicated myself to is a group I am part of. Not a group often the center of creative support or inspiration: working-class adults with daily lives focused on safeguarding their physical and economic survival.
"I didn't fail. It was a learning experience."

That about sums up the long term results of many of the small community and teaching projects I initiated over the years: I've learned a lot from all I have experienced and all I have tried ! With the extra twist of being a Black woman who has moved between different communities, different worlds, and different eras ......
FOR THE 1ST TIME I'M PROMOTING MYSELF
AS CREATOR OF WEIRD STUFF !
With this site I'm sharing my work to find an audience, as well as students to try out my free online lessons. I seek both critiques and collaborators, and to learn about similar work being done by other artists and teachers !

Check out my taglines, loglines, and synopses for my two feature scripts, NEXT DOOR and BILLIE'S SONG, and my series THE CREW. You ask:
WHAT'S THE POINT IF YOU CAN'T
ACTUALLY READ THE SCRIPTS ?!
Imagine you are a Producer looking for new projects to invest in. First you'll read the tagline, logline, and synopsis, and only then -- if your curiosity has been whetted -- do you ask to read the script. So check out my tagline, logline, and synopsis --- Would YOU recommend that the Producer read the script ?
